Haven’t been on tumblr a lot, or dealing with my facebook page and all that. Been doing a lot of thinking and writing. Been watching the news. Been wondering what the hell is going on in the world. Been wondering what the fuck is up with my country. Mostly been wondering how a very small number of us became so privileged that the rest of us got left behind or trampled over for their benefit in this economy.
Been watching guys in town squares. In parks. On streets. In front of offices and buildings in the rain with angry cops staring them down. Wish I was there. Wish I could stand there and stand for all of us instead of watching it on tv with the rest of us. I wish I could, but I can’t. I’m part of that 99% too. I can’t afford it.
But I can make music. I started writing this a while ago, but it came together in the last month or so. People say the whole occupy wall street movement has no message. I think it’s obvious.
